Cumming, GA (April 23, 2025) – A two-car collision occurred today on Highway 20 in Cumming, Georgia, injuring one driver. The crash, which took place around 2:15 p.m., involved a black Toyota RAV4 and a silver Hyundai Sonata.
Initial reports suggest that the Toyota RAV4 was traveling westbound on Highway 20 when the driver of the vehicle failed to yield while attempting to make a left turn onto a side road. As a result, the Toyota RAV4 collided with the front of the Hyundai Sonata, which was heading in the opposite direction. The force of the collision caused significant damage to the front ends of both vehicles.
The driver of the Hyundai Sonata, a 44-year-old woman, was injured and transported to a nearby hospital with chest and leg injuries. Fortunately, the driver of the Toyota RAV4, a 32-year-old man, was uninjured. Traffic was briefly delayed while authorities cleared the wreckage and restored normal traffic flow.
