Cumming, GA (April 25, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision occurred earlier today on Highway 20 in Cumming, Georgia, resulting in injuries to one driver. The incident, which took place around 10:25 a.m., involved a silver Honda Accord and a black Chevrolet Silverado.
Reports suggest that the driver of the Honda Accord was traveling westbound on Highway 20 when they attempted to make a left turn onto a residential street. As the Honda was crossing into the opposite lane, the driver of the Chevrolet Silverado, traveling eastbound, was unable to avoid the collision and struck the side of the Honda. The impact caused extensive damage to the Honda, and the driver, a 56-year-old woman, sustained injuries to her arm and chest. She was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash. Preliminary reports suggest that the driver of the Honda Accord failed to yield the right-of-way, which led to the crash. Traffic was delayed for about 30 minutes as authorities cleared the wreckage and restored normal traffic flow.
