Michael R. Martin attended college at the University of Houston, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He then attended law school at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. He was admitted to practice law in Georgia in 1998 and is an a ctive member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia.
For the past 20 years, Michael has devoted his practice to workers’ compensation, and he has practiced with several preeminent workers’ compensation law firms in the Atlanta a rea. In addition, and prior to joining the Law Offices of Humberto Izquierdo, Michael managed a solo practice where he focused exclusively on protecting the rights of injured workers.
Michael is admitted to practice before all Georgia courts and has al so served as a speaker on workers’ compensation topics at numerous continuing legal education seminars. In addition to his law practice, Michael enjoys spending his free time hiking, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family
